     Richard McGoldrick founded CPI in 1978 and has initiated or participated in the development of over four        million square feet of commercial space in Maine.

     Richard is also a founder and officer of Commercial Properties Management LLC, which manages 53                  properties in Maine; and Silver Street Development Corporation, which owns over 8,000 apartment units          in 13 States.

     Active in the community Richard has served as: a former member of the Board of the Finance Authority of          Maine (Chair 2000-2002); former co-chair of the Annual Auction of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater            Portland and a member of the Investment Committee; a founder and former President of the Maine Real          Estate and Economic Development Association; a founder and Board Member of the Maine Business                    Alliance; McGoldrick serves on the board of Bangor Savings Bank and  Bangor Savings Foundation.

Daniel Catlin has been in the real estate brokerage and development business since 1993.

Beginning with the redevelopment of the Hannaford Store on Maine Street in Brunswick in 1993, Dan has since been involved in the development of the Androscoggin Savings Bank and the acquisition and renovation of the Tontine Mall both on Maine Street in Brunswick. In addition, he spearheaded the development of several lots at the Topsham Fair Mall including the Wendy’s Restaurant, the 99 Restaurant, Goodwill and Winner’s Circle, including Starbucks, US Cellular, H&R Block, Athletes Foot, The UPS Store. Dan has been working with Commercial Properties, Inc. since 1998. His focus is primarily on the Mid-Coast Maine area. He recently represented Bath Iron Works as the exclusive broker for the deposition of its surplus property; the Times-Record in the sale – lease back of its facilities in Brunswick; and several other projects in the Bath/Brunswick market.

Erik Urbanek has been active in the sale and leasing of Commercial Real Estate in the Greater Portland area for the past 10 years.  Since 2002, Erik has been helping to manage 1.5 to 2 million square feet of commercial space.  In addition, along with the rest of the brokerage team, he is not only responsible tenant procurement for the properties owned and managed by the company, but also works with landlords, tenants, property owners and property buyers.

Originally from Aroostook County where his family owned downtown retail property, Erik has had a chance to be part of the forestry, agriculture, and hospitality industry.  After studying Marine Research in the Carolinas, he returned to Southern Maine.  He now resides in Cape Elizabeth with his wife and 4 children.

Erik is an active member of  MEREDA,  a frequent contributor to the Boys and Girls club and CEEF,  on the board of The Serenity House and likes to coach and chaperone youth sports and activities.  He also enjoys skiing, golfing, exploring the state of Maine, and neighborhood BBQ’s.  Erik is the Designated Broker for Commercial Properties Inc.

Susan Scanlon began her career in commercial lending in Washington, DC  and has been involved in the Greater Portland real estate market since 2001.  An award winning residential broker, she transitioned into commercial real estate in 2008.  Since that time, she has worked in both brokerage and management capacities.                   Joining Commercial Properties in November 2013,  Susan’s focus is on the sale and leasing of commercial real estate in Maine as well as the public and social media presence of the Brokerage, Property Management and Development Divisions of the company.

A past president of the Junior League of Portland, Maine and a Crisis Team Manager for the Trauma Intervention Program, Susan continues her involvement in the non-profit community as member of the Board of Directors of Woodfords Family Services.

Karen ensures the financial obligations of each entity are met by effectively working with owners, financial institutions and mortgage companies. Karen maintains property accounting records; prepares quarterly variance reports and loan compliance packages. She prepares annual work papers, schedules and reconciliations for tax prepartion. She oversees all financial reporting and insurance policies and is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the companies.

Karen joined Commercial Properties in 2001 as Lease Adminstrator. She worked closely with property managers and brokers to provide them with accurate leasing and financial information regarding the various properties. She was promoted to Account Manager and most recently CFO. She is currently working toward her Certified Property Manager designation through IREM. Karen is a Notary Public and holds a Maine Associate Brokers License. In her spare time, Karen enjoys gardening, traveling, digital photography, hiking, volunteering and spending time with family and friends.

Patty has nearly twenty years of leasing experience and managing all aspects of the Tenant / Landlord relationship, including: lease and renewal negotiations; lease and amendment document preparation; creating and maintaining critical dates data base and reports; Tenant expense and utility billings; annual CAM and Tax Reconciliations; SNDA and Estoppel Certificates; Tenant receivables and collections; default / lease compliance issues; and as the liaison in the myriad of Tenant / Landlord issues that arise.

Prior to joining our team in 2008, Patty spent fifteen years managing some 200 properties and tenancies for the largest privately held convenience store chain in the country. She also worked as an Underground Storage Tank Coordinator maintaining environmental compliance certificates for over 1,000 gasoline stations.

Patty’s previous careers include thirteen plus years as a line cook at such restaurants as the local Muddy Rudder and The Upper Crust – a fine dining restaurant of a large hotel on the South Shore of Boston. She also worked on her father’s lobster boat in Casco Bay for three summers. Patty feels those years and experiences served her well in developing a strong work ethic, organization skills, timing and the ability to efficiently multi-task.

In her time off she enjoys boating on Casco Bay and spending time with her dachshunds.

Abigail Cassidy has been with our company since August 2007. She is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance, repairs and tenant fit ups.

Abigail is originally from Brunswick, Maine, however, she has lived in Portland, Maine for the past 10 years and loves it. Abigail is currently a senior at the University of Southern Maine, working on her Bachelor of Science degree for Business Administration.

She comes to us with over 30 years’ experience in corporate real estate management throughout the U.S. and   commercial property management in New York, Connecticut and Maine.  Rebecca primarily supports the property maintenance and tenant interactions.  With her varied experience she also supports other aspects of our property management operations.  She loves living in Maine and being a part of her granddaughter’s life.
